Laughter, glowing faces, lights……. The smell of cotton candy, popcorn, candy apples…Ahh the fun of being at a carnival. I’m always fascinated with the joy that is inside of all the commotion. I love the looks on children’s faces. Their smiles and giggles. It’s a marker in their lives. A day that they will remember forever!  Kids are overtaken with the excitement of the next ride, game or sugary food. I love it!!! I love seeing my children happy. At these places it’s almost impossible for a parent to be mad. Parents all around a carnival are also happy. Why? Is it because of the overpriced candy apples, or games? Or because of the amazing food? NO! It’s because parents love to make their children happy.

Parents love being able to satisfy their children. They love putting a smile on their face. We love giving our kids what they want. In the same way the bible says “So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.” Matthew 7:11  What a powerful verse!  Don’t you think? Our father in heaven loves to give us things. He loves to see us happy. He wants the best for us! I think its crazy that the verse says that we who are sinful..can give good things. If we love to try to satisfy, and make our kids happy being that we could never satisfy like the father… How much more does he want to give?

He loves us with such a passionate love that led him to the cross!  To give us eternal life, and an abundant life on earth. He wants to satisfy your desires. He wants to give you those days that you will remember forever. He wants to spend a happy day with you.  Trust him!!!  Run to him!! He wants to embrace you, and take you to that place of comfort, and peace. Today I want to remind you of the Love of  our Father. A love far greater than any love here on earth. One that is abounding in good plans for your life.  Until next time God Bless
