What is the gospel?? Many people will see that word and automatically think "church" or "religion." They see it as a ritual or something procedural that one does every once and a while just to say they did or to make themselves feel good if just for that moment.
But in reality the gospel is so much more. It is our path, it is our light, it is our way of attaining the unattainable. It is the key that the Almighty God, the One whom with His own voice spoke creation INTO creation, left for us to unlock the keys to His heavenly kingdom....to be able to rejoice in His beautiful and wonderous presence for eternity.
The gospel shows us the extent of His unwavering, unrelenting, and limitless love...for us... It show us how He, being the great I AM, stepped down from His throne of power to show us what true love is. To show us just how far He'd go to ensure that we could be with Him forever.
He gave, paid, took, supplied, sealed, and healed everything for us with the shedding of His precious blood. And with every ounce of energy left in His body proclaimed without saying a word "THIS BLOOD IS FOR YOU!!" For God so loved the world...ME...YOU... that He gave His only begotten son, the whomsoever believed in Him, should not perrish, but have everlasting life...that is the gospel!
